Question submitted by a community member (posted with permission):
“I didn’t find the forum very intuitive at first, and I’m also not sure I’m comfortable providing my email address just to post questions or comments. I’m concerned about spam and privacy. Is there another way?”
Thank you for raising this — you’re not alone in feeling this way, and we really appreciate the feedback.
Since our soft launch, we’ve simplified the forum quite a bit to make it calmer and easier to use, especially for first-time and senior users. If you’re open to it, we’d love for you to take another look and let us know if it feels more intuitive now.
A few important reassurances:
- Reading the forum is always open — no account required
- An account (and email address) is needed only to post, primarily for spam prevention
- Your email address is never visible to other users
- We do not use email addresses for marketing
Creating a login helps us keep the forum clean, safe, and usable as the community grows — while still keeping things as simple as possible.
If you’re more comfortable just reading for now, that’s perfectly fine. You’re welcome to join the conversation whenever you’re ready.
If you ever have a question you’d like posted on your behalf, we’re happy to help.
